Supply Chain/Logistics Analyst New Holland, PA 1 year contract Up to 34 an hour ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
Serve as the main operational resource to CNH Logistics teams for any carrier capacity related issue.
First line of escalation to support capacity planning, contingencies where needed and other operational issues.
Support CNH Accounting team in resolving invoice related issues such as timely payment, accessorial invoice audit and operational support, communication and process improvement actions.
Manage spot quote requests across all brands and modes (air, full container, RoRo).
Actively manage Ocean and Air carrier weekly/monthly allocations, capacity planning and securing additional capacity as needed.
Create and maintain carrier key contact and escalation plan, as well as Finished goods product profile information (weight, dims, load factor, mode of shipment, static cargo, etc) Impact:
Logistics Specialist will coordinate monthly capacity planning with CNHi contracted ocean container carriers.
This activity will align forecasted and actual demand with carrier allocated space for CNHi.
Identified areas where demand is outstripping available capacity will involve escalation and coordinated efforts to secure necessary capacity to support CNHi demand.
Logistics Specialist will coordinate invoice issues and discrepancies between CNHi Accounting team, Logistics operations teams and ocean carrier in order to promptly and properly resolve open issues.
This activity will directly impact CNHi's ability to support the smooth flow of material and improved carrier relationship.
Logistics Specialist will be responsible to coordinate spot quote activity, selecting the best fit carrier based on a combination of cost and service factors, critical to the needs of the business teams involved.
Communication:
CNHi Logistics operational teams (Parts, Components, Finished Goods) -Constant daily/weekly/monthly communication on any and all capacity and contract activities, shipments and contingencies.
CNHi contract carrier base - Regularly communicate operational needs, forecasted and actual demand including sudden spikes/changes and available capacity to match.
CNHi Brand Commercial teams - Communicate the required details to support clean and clear spot quote activity, as well as shipment and capacity relevant details to support commercial objectives.
CNHi Accounting / Finance Department- Regular communication regarding carrier invoices, discrepancies, contract rates and exceptions.
CNHi prospective new vendors/carriers - Discussions with new carriers to understand scale, scope, financial status and otherwise potential fit for CNHi contracting.
Requirements (including minimum education & years of experience):
4 Year Degree Required - preferably in Supply Chain/Business Focus Previous experience in negotiation/procurement role or logistics operations experience Demonstrated success with project management Demonstrates precise analytical skills while pursuing objectives autonomously Pro-active performance and with passion for delivery Motivated team player with excellent communication and presentation skills Hands on experience in ERP systems, visibility platforms, and all MS office tools Flexible and able to work under pressure Available to travel if necessary Act with a sense of urgency Ability to work independently and produce results with minimum supervision Ability to think strategically and develop sound solutions for multiple audiences.
Must be able to influence multiple audiences to embrace and implement a strategic direction.
Candidate needs to be self-starting / motivated / high energy.
Ability to develop positive and effective relationships with all levels of assigned brand.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
